Why are “Pound” and “Ounce” Abbreviated as “lb” and “oz”?

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

Saw Sea of Monsters today. It was pretty good. Very faithful to the book. It was funny and had lots of correct mythological references. Tyson, the hippocampus, Dionysus and Hermes were my favorite characters. Go see it!

The National Latin Exam

The National Latin Exam will be given at Kell the 2nd week of March this year. The cost is $4.00 and must be paid by Monday, January 16. If you have an  A or B in Latin, you should take this test!!! It does not count for or against your grade. Looks good on college more »
